Endpoint protection from cyber-attacks for all of your devices.
Microsoft Defender provides endpoint protection. It protects your PCs, laptops, tablets, phones, and cloud services (like Office 365 and Azure) from a cyber-attack.
Microsoft Defender is widely recognised as a leader in this space, alongside products like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, Sophos, and Sentinel One. Microsoft Defender works across Windows/Linux/Mac OS/iOS/Android devices to help you secure your complete IT estate.
Defender was developed by Microsoft and is thoroughly integrated with all the other Microsoft products you already use.
Defender’s features also include:
Endpoint Protection: Provides advanced threat detection and response capabilities for your devices.
Cross-Platform Support: Works across Windows, Linux, Mac OS, iOS, and Android devices.
Cloud Security: Secures multi-cloud and hybrid environments with comprehensive cloud security posture management and threat protection services.
When selecting a Defender partner, you should look for three things:
Defender will be an important piece of your cyber defence - but is only part of it. You need to work with a partner who can help you take a comprehensive approach - from audit to endpoint protection, and from penetration testing to outsourced identity management services.
Find out how other customers feel. Don't ask for references - every business has a few. Ask your prospective Defender partner what their NPS score is. What is NPS? A Net Promoter Score is a customer loyalty metric that predicts the likelihood of a customer repurchasing from you or referring your company to a friend. NPS scores range from as low as –100 to as high as 100.
A score less than 20? They're not right for you. No NPS score at all? Again, not the right partner for you.
Knowing your partner has the right skillset to look after you is essential. It comes down to how many people they have handling the support desk - and how many of them really know Defender. Ask the question and go and meet them.
