TSG is proud to announce the appointment of Rory McKeand as the Chief Executive Officer of TSG. McKeand previously served as TSG’s Chief Operating Officer, driving TSG’s customer satisfaction, balanced with improved financial performance.
McKeand is succeeding David Stonehouse who helped Sir Graham Wylie set up the business and has served as CEO for the last 17 years. Stonehouse will focus on his role as Executive Chairman of the company.
“Having built a successful, national IT services business with a team of capable, motivated and customer focused staff I am proud of what we have accomplished”, David said.
“I now feel the time is right to hand over that responsibility to enable me to focus on my role as Executive Chairman. Rory has been a key part of the development of TSG over recent years as we have invested in our people and processes and increased our focus on our customers’ satisfaction.
He has a strong track record, both within TSG and prior, in delivering results through selective, well managed investments focused upon delivering exceptional customer experience, thus ensuring that businesses can maximise the return on their IT investments.”
McKeand has over 10 years of experience and expertise in the IT industry, including time creating and accelerating the cloud journey at Sage PLC and developing the “paper light” programme for the Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust. McKeand then took on his first role at TSG as Head of Projects over 4 years ago.
“I am thrilled to begin this next chapter as CEO at TSG,” said Rory McKeand. “As COO I have spent much of my time ensuring that we are best placed to serve our customers and develop trusted partnerships with them. We have been on a journey to develop a world class service, investing platforms, processes and most importantly our people and their depth of expertise in Microsoft and managed services. Backed by over 1,500 certifications, we have a fantastic team in place, from entry level to leadership, supporting the growth of the business”.
“The pandemic offered us the opportunity to focus on consistent results with our customers and building those strong foundations to enable their success. This has been reflected with the award of our Best Companies “Outstanding” engagement award and achieving a record NPS +80% over the last 12 months. We will maintain our high standards whilst pushing for organic growth. I am thoroughly looking forward to being at the helm of TSG’s continued success.”
TSG wishes both Rory and David all the success moving forward.
