TSG named EMEA Breakthrough Partner of the Year by Datto

TSG has been named as EMEA Breakthrough Partner of the Year by backup and disaster recovery experts Datto.

The announcement was made at DattoCon 17 by regional MD, Andrew Stuart.

Accepting the award on behalf of TSG, CTO Paul Burns commented: “We’re delighted that the hard work we’ve put in over the last year has been recognised. In his keynote at the conference, Datto founder Austin McChord outlined a number of new developments such as a networking product portfolio including wireless, fixed and secure router, an appliance for Azure and industry-leading improvements in failback to the production environment.

Paul Burns explained the significance: “Disaster can strike at any time as one of our customers discovered just a few days after we installed their Datto solution. Thankfully there was no impact at all to the business and users were able to continue their duties as normal. There’s a big difference between traditional back up and the instant recovery offered by Datto which provides genuine business continuity.”
